Ingredients
4ozgoat cheeseat room temperature
4ozmascarpone cheeseat room temperature
1/4cfresh basil leavesfinely chopped
16Medjool datespitted and halved
16slicesof prosciuttohalved lengthwise
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
Mix the goat cheese, mascarpone cheese, and basil together in a small bowl. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Take one half of a date and place a small spoonful of the cheese mixture on the cut side. Then wrap a piece of prosciutto around the date. Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
Stuff and wrap remaining dates. Bake at 350° for 5-10 mins. Arrange the dates on a platter and serve.
Notes
Dates can be served hot or at room temperature. Uncooked dates can be stuffed and wrapped a day in advance. Heat just before serving. These stuffed dates are a great appetizer to serve at dinner parties or bring to a potluck.
