How to Set Up a Drink Station
Setting up a drink station is an easy way to elevate your hosting game. We love having pre-made mixers, cups, napkins, and garnishes ready for guests to help themselves. It takes stress off the host, so you don’t have to stand around playing bartender. Plus guests know where to start when they first walk into your party. Here we’re sharing some of our favorite drink stations from parties past.
drink station components
- Glasses and/or cups (one for each guest + a few extra)
- Cocktail napkins
- Ice bucket with ice
- Labeled carafes or glasses of pre-made mixes (juices, simple syrups, etc.)
- Garnishes (fruit, fresh herbs)
- Straws and/or cocktail picks
- Wine glass markers or drink charms
- Drinks (water, sparkling water, wine, etc.)

Iced Coffee Bar
For a summer brunch, we put together an Iced Coffee Bar. Guests were invited to create their own coffee drinks with coffee ice cubes and three homemade simple syrups (Cardamom, Brown Sugar Cinnamon, and Vanilla). Make sure to label your components, so guests know exactly what they are using! We also included some milk and cream in little pitchers as well as a large pitcher full of cold brew coffee.

Lemonade & Tea Bar
For a Garden Party with a few friends, we simplified the drink station with glasses for each guest and a choice of two beverages: Lavender Lemonade and Mint Iced Tea in carafes. We used our Cricut to make these adorable drink labels. In each glass, we created these beautiful large iced cubes with edible flowers, lemons, and fresh mint.

Mimosa Bars
Here are two example of mimosa bars that we created for summer get-togethers. We created different juice and herb simple syrup combinations (Peach & Mint, Watermelon & Basil, and Grapefruit & Rosemary) for guests to mix with sparkling wine or water. We placed labeled carafes on a large serving tray with glasses, garnishes, ice, and sparkling water. Use a marble wine chiller to keep the bottles cold!

Iced Tea Bar
For our Game Day Party, we made a refreshing Iced Tea Bar with freshly brewed unsweetened tea and three different fruit or herb syrups to mix with the tea: Peach, Mint, and Lemon. We included garnishes like fresh mint, lemon slices, and raspberries.
