Equipment

  • electric juicer

Ingredients

  • 1 cup lemon juice freshly squeezed from 5-6 lemons
  • 1 lime juiced
  • 3/4 cup elderflower syrup
  • 1/4 cup mint simple syrup recipe below
  • 6 cups cold water
  • 1 lemon thinly sliced for garnish
  • fresh mint for garnish

Instructions

  • Make mint simple syrup by combining 1 cup of water with 1 cup of sugar in a small sauce pan. Gently heat over medium-low heat until the sugar dissolves. Remove from heat and add a handful of fresh mint. Allow to cool. Once cooled, strain mint from syrup and store in an air-tight container. Simple syrup can be stored in the fridge for up to one month.
  • Juice lemons and remove the pulp using a mesh strainer. We recommend using an electric juicer.
  • Combine 1 cup lemon juice, lime juice, 3/4 cup elderflower syrup, and 1/4 cup of mint simple syrup in a large pitcher. Add 6 cups of cold water. Stir to combine.
  • Pour into a glass with ice and garnish with lemon slice and fresh mint.

Notes

Lemonade can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for a few days. Garnish with lemon slices and mint just before serving. Perfect for bridal showers, baby showers, and summer parties.
