Simple syrups are oh so simple to make with just equal parts of sugar and water. Stir until the sugar dissolves, remove from heat, and add in your flavoring (basil, mint, rosemary, peach, lemon, etc.). We used basil here for our Watermelon Basil Slush. 🍉🌿

We love hydrangeas, but we don’t love how quickly

We love hydrangeas, but we don’t love how quickly they can wilt. With this trick, we’ve kept our hydrangeas fresh for over two weeks! Save these tips, and follow for more easy & elevated ideas. 🤍

Trim the stem, then cut vertically up the stem twice. This allows for more water to go up the stem, which keeps the blooms from wilting.

We also use the floral food that comes with the flowers in the water, and refresh the water every few days to make sure they stay hydrated.
