How to Shop at Scott Antique Market
Scott Antique Market (Scott’s) in Atlanta is one of the largest indoor antique and interiors markets. The monthly market is a great spot for antique pieces, vintage finds, local art, and more! It can be a bit overwhelming your first time, so we’re breaking down How to Shop at Scott Antique Market from getting there, to shopping around, and what to bring.

Getting There & Entry
Scott Antique Market is located just south of Atlanta, near Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport. The market is open the second weekend of every month (Thursday – Sunday). There are two buildings (North and South) with a free shuttle that will take you back and forth or you can drive between them.
Parking is free, but there is a $5 cash-only admission fee per person. Most vendors accept Venmo or cards, but you’ll need at least enough cash for the admission fee (there are ATMs at the front of the buildings if needed). The ticket is good for the whole weekend, so you can go between the buildings or return another day if needed.
Shopping Around
The North building (3650 Jonesboro Rd. SE) has more traditional antique dealers, whereas the South building (3850 Jonesboro Rd. SE) has more modern furniture and artists’ booths. We usually start at the North building and then make our way to the South, but it all depends on what you’re looking for. You will be doing a lot of walking, so wear comfortable shoes. There are also vendors outside the buildings that you may want to browse, so dress for the weather.
Things to Bring
In addition to cash, we recommend bringing a tote and a bag with wheels. We brought our Hulken bag, which is perfect for wheeling around while shopping. Some vendors have bags and packing materials, and most will hold onto purchases while you continue to browse. But it’s so much easier to wheel around your purchases in the Hulken or a small foldable wagon.
We also recommend having a measuring tape handy. While some items will have the dimensions included on the tags, others don’t. So if you’re looking at something large, it’s best to get a measurement. We brought a larger measuring tape with us this time, but Elaine has now started carrying this one with her at all times. Great for impromptu visits to an antique store or vintage shop!
We went in July, so it was HOT. A water bottle is great to have on hand while shopping. We don’t go anywhere without our Owala Travel Tumbler. It’s a great size for car cup holders and has both a straw and sipping spout. There are little spots to grab a bite to eat in both buildings, but if you’re short on time, we recommend packing a snack you can eat while shopping.
Other Tips
It’s easy to feel overwhelmed when you walk in, so we like to keep a running list of things we’re looking for on our phones. Don’t get too caught up in finding something specific though – keep your options open! It can feel a bit maze-like when you’re inside the buildings, so take your time working your way through.
Talk with the vendors and get their cards if you like their items. We start following our favorite vendors on social media, so we know when they are having sales, updating their booths, and scheduled to be at Scott’s. If you’re looking for a deal, you can ask what their best price is on something. You may be able to get a small discount! Cash can also be helpful for getting a good deal.
